A Year in Nature - Creative Nature Diary
Nature Network Recovery invites you to be part of this exciting new project - which aims to get up close and creative with nature for a whole year!
You are encouraged to ‘adopt’ a patch or area of nearby nature (wildflower areas, hedges, verges, fields, trees, the community orchard, the river, wharf stream, Wytham wood, Millennium wood etc) and document its growth and change through all the seasons for a year. Your observations and responses can be in ANY media; paintings, poems, photos, drawings, collages, films, stories, textiles, songs, sculpture, and much more.
These creative responses will contribute to a diverse, rich and valuable nature diary that will be shared with the community (via a digital gallery) raising awareness and connection with our nearby wild spaces and species.
This project is open to all ages and abilities, individuals, families and groups to be involved in a way that suits you.
All creative submissions to the project will be entered into a competition with the chance of winning prizes and awards and also the opportunity to have your artwork printed on cards, and calendars
