Fancy a bit of forest bathing, trying an electric bicycle or vehicle, making and racing a formula e mini kit car, watching some Shakespeare, hearing about hedgehogs, scoffing vegetable kebabs, visiting the repair cafe, having some arty or sciencey fun with the kids, chilling and crafting, picking some litter, learning about local green initiatives, or engaging in discussion about sustainable lifestyles? You can do all these things and much more in Eynsham's Great Big Green Week (Saturday 18th-Sunday 26th September 2021)
The full programme, daily schedule, and trail map for Eynsham’s Great Big Green Week are now available for download - or you can pick up a printed map & summary programme in Eynsham Cellars, The Market Garden or Evenlode DIY.
The Talk Tent schedule (Saturday 25th in the Square) will be revealed very soon!
All events are free, but some need to be booked in advance.
Eynsham's Great Big Green Week is a collaboration between local community groups, businesses, organizations, individuals, families and friends, which aims to showcase and celebrate the great green endeavours to tackle climate change and protect the environment in our village and beyond, and inspire people to show the world we want to do better.
This forms part of a massive national event in the lead up to the 2021 United Nations Summit on Climate Change (COP26).
