It is great to be open again and we have very much enjoyed seeing our customers and catching up with you after the closed period.Thank you for your understanding of the COVID safety restrictions we have put in place and for observing them so well.
This is to let you know that our opening hours at the library have been revised on a temporary basis.
Starting on Monday 28 September we will be open from 13:00-17:00 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and from 09.30-13.00 on Saturday (closed on Tuesday and Thursday.)
A review of library opening hours has been carried out across the county with all branches that have re-opened making adjustments to their hours. This is necessary to mitigate the effect of staff shortages following the COVID crisis, and allow staff to be redeployed to other branches when necessary, ensuring all libraries can maintain their advertised opening hours.
All services that have been available in branch since we re-opened will continue to operate and the letter box drop off point at the front of the library will remain open at all times to return books. You can make online reservations for collection when we are open and continue to use the wide range of electronic resources on offer via the County Libraries website.
