Watlington Cricket club hosted the first Women's Softball Cricket Festival of 2019 on Sunday 9th June with five teams competing.
Our team had a fun filled afternoon with some great close games but lacking the interval Prosecco and strawberries of last year. Additional entertainment was by the red kites, not the aeronautical team but the feathered variety that seemed to get great pleasure from scaring both players and spectators as they skimmed the ground picking up worms.
All in all a great day out with the Eynsham CC women's team coming out on top winning all their games - congratulations to the team.
