Procession of hearse carrying Revel Elliot through Eynsham on Thursday 16 September: all timings are approximate and will depend on traffic conditions etc.
There will be one hearse, carrying Mum. The hearse will be followed by one large family people-carrier. Raymond, Mike, Rosie, (and Raymond's carer) will be in this vehicle. Special thanks to Andy Cooper for providing the family transport.
14:15/ 14:30 Leave Humphris, Albert Street, Banbury.
15:15 Arrive in Eynsham, via the Eynsham roundabout. Turn right on to Hanborough Road. Turn into the first turning for Wytham View. Process through Wytham View, stop outside no. 37 (Mike's house).
Turn left onto Mill Street.
Process down Mill Street.
Turn left onto Newland Street.
15:20 Process down Newland Street, stop outside no. 17, "Greystones". This will be the longest stopping point: 5 minutes. Neighbours of Mum and Dad are welcome to stand and / or walk behind the family transport for Mum's final journey to St Peter's Catholic Church.
15:25 Leave Newland Street.
Turn right on to Queen's Street.
15:30 stop outside Queen's Head Pub, which is between two of Mum's playgroup friends' houses. Acre End Playgroup Mums will gather at this point.
Leave Queen's Street, turn right onto High Street.
Turn left onto the square, pass by St Leonard's Church.
Turn left onto Church Street.
Turn left onto Abbey Street.
Turn left into the car park at St. Peter's Catholic Church.
15:45 arrive at St Peter's Catholic Church.
16:00 The Reception of the Body, liturgy service at St. Peter's Catholic Church.
All friends and family of Revel are welcome to attend. (Face masks to be worn in church please and social distancing to be observed).
The services will be recorded and made available to watch at a later date.
