A big thank you to all our advertisers and sponsors and to the Parish Council for supporting another year of Eynsham News. We are currently operating with a small financial surplus which is our contingency fund. In keeping with our not-for-profit status, any balances from the end of financial year 2014-15 will be donated to Eynsham charities.
Thanks also to our small army of delivery volunteers, including Rotary Club of Eynsham members. Here’s where we’re up to now.
Your local news has global reach since going online last autumn. Readers hail from Australia, Canada, Cyprus, Dominican Republic, Germany, Ghana, Netherlands, United Arab Emirates and the USA.
Two-thirds of Eynsham News is still reserved for reports and features, listings and snippets; we aim to strike a balance.
The colouring corner has proved an unexpected ‘draw’ to artists of all ages.
Your bright idea could be the next big thing! Please have a word at any time - or look for us on Mill Street during Open Gardens weekend.
1/16 page adverts introduced last autumn have supported smaller businesses and funded extra space.
Year two sponsors have the option of a 1/16 page advert at no extra charge.
A maximum one third of space goes to adverts / sponsors, ensuring exclusivity. There are just one or two slots left - contact Sandy if you’re interested.
Issue #7 - cover image shown - will be out on 26 May. In the meantime, here is a preview. Earlier copies are still online. Issue #8 will be out on 28 July - copy deadline Friday 11 July. Please get in touch.
