Following our triumphant world amateur premiere production of Von Ribbentrop’s Watch, we are thrilled that the authors, Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran, have agreed to be our joint patrons. Not only did they agree to Bartholomew Players being the first amateur group to put on this play, but also they came to our first reading, attended the Friday evening performance of our show and gave a talk afterwards where they answered questions, much to the delight of the full capacity audience.
Lo and Mo have been writing hit comedies & dramas for TV, radio and the stage for over four decades. They have recently written a book, Shooting the Pilot, which includes some of their most famous scripts as well as background accounts of their shows and are also embarking on a theatre tour, Blokes of a Feather, talking about their 40 years in the business.
