After over a year of lockdown Creative Embroidery is back in the Village Hall from Thursday 16th September 2021 at 13.30-15.30pm
We have kept going during lockdown with a series of Zoom meetings and Zoom projects. You can see some of the results in the picture gallery.
This term's project is on Fabric Books.
Each person will choose a theme such as flowers, colours, trees or memories and either work a series of samples and/or incorporate existing samples, stitching and old fabrics/stitching such as embroidered handkerchiefs or table linen.
Techniques and stitch diagrams will be provided and demonstrated where appropriate.
We will include some block printing.
The course is suitable for beginners up to those with more experiance. It is a very friendly group and we all support and get inspiration from each other, as well as my large collecton of samples, books and magazines.
We have a few spaces laft so please contact me by e mail or telephone for more details if you wish to join.
