Road closures in May 16 Apr 2024 Temporary closures that may impact local travel

Eynsham Parish Council has been advised of some temporary road closures that may impact residents’ local journeys during May.

From 20-22 May, two sections of the road that connects South Leigh to Barnard Gate will be closed between 5am and 6pm each day. The closure is to allow for surface dressing works on the road.

This is an unnamed road but can be identified from the map available to download below. There is a second map to identify the second closure section. Both maps also indicate a suggested diversion route via Station Road, Chapel Road, South Leigh Road, B4022 and A40.

From 23-25 May, from 5am until 6pm each day, there will be a temporary road closure and ‘no waiting’ restriction in place on a section of the A415 in Standlake/Newbridge. The section to be closed is between the junction with Appleton Road to the junction with High Street; it is marked on the map below, alongside a suggested diversion.

Finally, from 24-26 May between the hours of 5am and 6pm each day, another section of the A415 (at Standlake/Stanton Harcourt) will be temporarily closed to allow for surface works. The section to be closed is marked on the map below, as is the suggested diversion route.
