Bartholomew School has launched an exciting new programme of extracurricular activities for students to help promote wellbeing and development beyond the classroom.
The first two weeks of BartsXtra have been met with great enthusiasm and we are delighted that so many students and staff have taken part in all year groups. We've seen students getting involved in cooking, singing, sports, philosophical debates, and wildlife conservation to name but a few of the many activities on offer. We have even seen the formation of a Medical Association, which is a student-led initiative that will assist those looking to go into the medical profession. The BartsXtra and Careers team have also linked up to provide information about the wealth of opportunities and virtual events taking place.
There are ongoing competitions and suggestions for a range of activities that continue through half term and we have further exciting events and activities planned for next term. We're particularly looking forward to our guest speaker George Sawyer, who is known for Horrible Histories, SO Beano!, Gigglebiz, Dick and Dom, Me & My Monsters and The Ministry of Curious Stuff.
We look forward to updating you with more news from the school and will be in touch again soon to tell you about our new Alumni Association.
