‘I’ve still much to do but here are a couple of pics of the project so far- you may recognise the cottages and Rosa Villa in today’s Station Road! The model is at 2mm= 1 foot scale, so forgive any blemishes, a photo exaggerates them!’
‘With only 8 to 12 trains a day on busy days (4 or 6 each way), the station master had plenty of time to tend the garden (and hang the washing out).’
