The part of Footpath 206/7 which is supposed to hug the north bank of the Wharf Stream between Siemens and the footbridge has long been overgrown. The path has become a winding "sheep track" through the field, from which the pretty stream can't be seen at all. The current landowners, at the Parish Council's request, have recently cleared the undergrowth along the bank so the correct route can now be followed. Please do go and walk along the cleared stretch to view the lovely waterway: in doing so, you will help to reinstate the original path. Thank you - Sue Osborne
