Eynsham Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG), the area liaison group with Thames Valley Police, is to be renamed the Community Forum Group (CFG) in 2019.
Broadly the CFG will continue to liaise with TVP; but a different approach is to be developed in view of recent budget cuts and their impact on policing in the Eynsham area. It is hoped that the new approach will also encompass an expanded role in community affairs.
The first CFG meeting will be in mid February at the Bartholomew Room in The Square and aims to determine the role of the Group, at least for its early months.
