NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The Order will further amend the Oxfordshire County Council (Various Roads - West Oxfordshire) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Permitted Parking) Order 2012. The effect of the order, for road safety and traffic management reasons is as follows:
(1) to introduce areas of No Waiting at Any Time (double yellow lines) in:
(a) Old Witney Road from its junction with Witney Road, westwards for a distance of 55 metres on both sides;
(b) Thornbury Road, on both sides for 137 metres from Witney Road;
(c) Witney Road, from Acre End Street northwards on both sides to beyond Clover Place; and a 30 metre area opposite the junction with Thornbury Road;
(2) to prohibit waiting Monday to Friday between 08:00 & 09:00 and 14:30 & 15:30 in
(d) Witney Road, on both sides from the southernmost junctions with the service roads southwards to Willows Edge;
(e) into Willows Edge for 24 metres; and
(f) into Bartholomew Close on the north side for 62.5 metres, and the south side for 12 metres.

Objections to the proposal, specifying the grounds on which they are made and any other representations should be sent in writing to the address below (or via the web address above) no later than 01 June 2018. The County Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.
