Also in important local news this month is the possibility of Oxford becoming the World’s first Zero Emission Zone (ZEZ). The City and County Councils propose to tackle illegally high levels of nitrogen dioxide in parts of the city. Other pollutants would see a phased introduction of the ZEZ over time.
