Heading into Spring 17 Feb 2018 Update from the Eynsham NH Police Team

Following our re-organisation we are now into the "swing of things" with Helen being as busy as ever on the Eynsham Area.

Over the winter months we have taken part in a vareity of Community Events attendin school and village Christmas fates etc, where we have been providing crime prevention advice and sign ups to Thames Valley Alert.

Following a series of burglaries in Cassington at the start of last summer Helen has been working with Cassington residents and the Parish Council to set up a Neighbourhood Watch Scheme and to help residents mark their property.

we now have a neighbourhood watch group in Eynsham and North Leigh but are looking for many more members to join us.

The aim of neighbourhood watch is to bring neighbours together to create strong, friendly, active communities where crime and anti-social behaviour are less likely to happen.

Our vision is that of a caring society that is focused on trust and respect in which people are safe from crime and enjoy a good quality of life. Neighbourhood Watch is about making sure that fewer people feel afraid, vulnerable or isolated in the place where they live.

Our next Neighbourhood Action Group meeting will be on the 19 March 2018, should you wish to come along and see if you can help then please contact Ron Hollis.

As always - to contact the Eynsham Neighbourhood Team please call 101 or email eynshamneighbourhood@thamesvalley.pnn.police.uk
