Responsible Post Vacant 8 Feb 2017 Eynsham Parish Council requires a part-time Parish Clerk / Responsible Financial Officer - applications close 24 February

Eynsham Parish Council requires a Parish Clerk/Responsible Financial Officer with effect from 3 April 2017.

22 hours a week – flexible with evening / occasional weekend work. A job-share may be considered. The candidate should:

  • have good communication skills and able to manage a small team
  • be computer literate and have access to the internet
  • be able to work from home
  • facilitate the monthly meetings of the full Council & additional committee meetings.
  • be able to demonstrate knowledge of local government, qualified to CiLCA standard or willing to gain within 12 months.
  • as Responsible Financial Officer have accounts and audit experience.

Salary is in accordance with the Local Government pay scales point 30-34 (pro-rata) at a point commensurate with qualifications and experience. A home working allowance is payable.
