We enjoyed the thrills and spills of seven races, both flat and over hurdles, during a relaxed and entertaining evening. An excellent meal of chicken tikka and apple crumble was served in the intermission. The tote was busy taking bets and there were some very happy winners!
We really appreciate the support shown by the several local businesses and individuals who sponsored the races and by the good turn out from members of village clubs and individuals as well as from neighbouring Rotary Clubs.
The money raised will be used for local projects as well as International Rotary charities including the "End Polio Campaign" which is so close to achieving the end of Polio throughout the world.
