Aurora Solar Farm Public Consultation 12 Jun 2019 14:00 - 19:00 at Village Hall

Low Carbon and the landowner of Twelve Acre Farm, Eynsham, OX29 4BH are working together to develop a solar farm on fields within the farm. The project is known as the ‘Aurora Solar Farm’. I have enclosed a brief brochure outlining the project, together with the provisional layout and indicative elevation drawings for your reference.

Low Carbon is a UK company committed to making a positive and significant impact on the causes of climate change. Low Carbon has funded the development of more than 322 megawatts of UK solar, generating enough clean energy to power more than 100,000 UK homes and saving in excess of 143,600 tonnes of CO2 each year.

DWD LLP is a specialist town planning consultancy and has been appointed by Low Carbon to prepare the planning application for the project and assist with pre-application consultation. To date, we have requested pre-application advice from West Oxfordshire District Council, and we are about to undertake formal consultation with the local community. It is anticipated that a planning application will be submitted in July 2019.

Please note that we are also carrying out a public exhibition on 12 June 2019 from 14:00 to 19:00 at, Eynsham Village Hall, 46 Back Lane, Eynsham, OX29 4QW. The exhibition will soon be advertised in the local press and by letter drop.
