The documentation includes a Section 106 agreement on contributions to the village infrastructure as follows:

  • £30,000 for improvement/extension of cemetery or other community facilities in the neighbourhood of the site;
  • £150,000 towards provision of floodlit artificial turf multi use games area or other recreational facilities in the neighbourhood of the site;
  • £110,000 towards enhancement and maintenance of play areas in the neighbourhood of the site;
  • £20,000 for public art.

The Parish Council will not have access to these monies until the building works are complete. When the money is available to be spent the Council will discuss with the village the best way of spending it.

There is also a public open space commuted sum of £437,743.50 and £8,487 toward youth facilities infrastructure plus money for library, school etc.

The development has been registered with Royal Mail as Hazeldene Close.
